In response to many requests for tracks to practice Taichi with, or to be able to use as a background for meditation, this album came about. The first track was written as the background for a World Peace Meditation, and is of sufficient length to do the Taichi Long Form. The album is dedicated to all of my Taichi Students, past and present, as well as Grandmaster Waysun Liao and the Taichi Dao Center in Oak Park, Illinois. Released in 2021, 4 tracks, 66 min.
This is a solo Native Flute album, inspired by the landscape and wildlife of the Sonoran Desert here in Arizona. The album features flutes made by Odell Borg of High Spirits Flutes in Patagonia Arizona. My sincerest thanks to Jan Michael Looking Wolf for his encouragement to release this music. This is a musical voyage through a fantasy world that features a wide variety of moods and styles, from Asian to electronic. The two volume Album has something for everyone, and features the track Endgame, used by Joshua Shapiro on his weekly web broadcast. Released in 2009, 22 tracks on two albums, 101 min.
This music was inspired by Zarista Games’ Series, Hero of Lukomorye. Songs range from martial music to eerie atmospheric spaces. The Album elicits many different moods from the sad Captive Princess to the stirring Hero of Lukomorye. Orchestral pieces are featured as well as songs played on electronic instruments, Classical, and electric guitar. Released in 2008, 15 tracks, 71 min.
This Album is a pleasing mixture of traditional Chinese instruments, such as the erhu and di, over an ambient electronic background, creating a variety of moods and a relaxing sound-scape. Many of these tracks are suitable for Taichi practice or meditation. This Album has been very popular with a wide audience, and is featured as a background to a Taichi demonstration on Dr. Andrew Weil’s website. Released in 2007, 13 tracks, 63 min.
These songs were the second set written for Taichi videos. Several songs feature nylon string guitar, as well as electronic instruments in pleasing aural arrangements. This Album is a musical tour of the planets. It features many different tempos and moods to express the characteristics of each planet, painting a musical picture of each one.
